Get in touch
Questions, bugs and suggestions are all welcome, and a real person reads every message. Replies usually arrive within a few days.
If you are reporting a problem, it helps enormously to include your device, your iOS/macOS/visionOS version, the app version (Settings screen, bottom), and what you were doing when it happened.

My progress vanished, or my other device is behind
Dezh syncs your stars, Farr, records and unlocks through your own iCloud account. Both devices must be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive turned on.
Sync happens in the background and can lag by a minute or two. Opening the app on the older device and returning to the title screen usually settles it.
An interrupted battle is saved separately, on the device it was played on, and appears as Continue on the title screen. That one does not travel between devices.
I left a tip but nothing unlocked
That is expected. Tips deliberately unlock nothing. Every chapter, champion, tower, mode and court game is in the app from the moment you install it. There is no content behind a purchase and nothing you can buy that helps you win a battle.
A tip buys the tower-builder a chai, and earns a line of thanks on the Settings screen. That is all it was ever meant to do.
How do I restore a purchase?
Tips are consumable, so there is nothing to restore in the usual sense — but if you were charged and the thank-you count did not rise, open Settings (the gear on the title screen) and the tip jar will re-check with the App Store when it appears.
If a charge still looks wrong, Apple handles all refunds directly at reportaproblem.apple.com — we never see your payment details and cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Can I reset my progress?
There is no in-app reset, deliberately, because it is irreversible and easy to hit by accident. To clear everything, delete the app and reinstall it — then turn iCloud Drive off first if you do not want the old progress syncing straight back down.
Game Center
My scores or achievements are not appearing
You must be signed in to Game Center for anything to be recorded. Check Settings → Game Center on your device, then relaunch Dezh. The floating Game Center badge on the title screen appears only when you are signed in.
Achievements earned while signed out are not lost. Dezh keeps its own copy and re-submits everything the next time it can reach Game Center.
How do the Daily Challenge and Weekly Trial work?
The Daily Challenge picks one battlefield, one difficulty and one elite affix from the date itself, so everyone in the world faces the same trial that day. It changes at midnight UTC.
The Weekly Trial is the harder sibling: a week-long Endless run at Pahlavān or above, on its own leaderboard. It reseeds once a week.
Each has its own board, and each board only holds scores from the challenge that is currently running — a Monday score is never ranked against a Tuesday one.
How do I play someone by post?
Tap the envelope on the title screen to open Court by Post, then start a match at chess or nard. Game Center will invite a friend or find you an opponent.
Turns are asynchronous — make your move, close the app, and you will be notified when they reply. Both players need to be signed in to Game Center, and this is the only part of Dezh that needs a connection.

I am stuck on the Brazen Fortress — Esfandiyār will not die
That is the puzzle of the chapter, not a bug. Esfandiyār’s body was made brazen by sorcery, and common arms glance off him. Two things get through:
- Mark him. Take a Kamāngīr (archer) to level 3 and choose the Sniper branch, which brands its target with the Mark of the Dīv. A marked foe takes true harm from everything.
- Ārash. His arrow is a hero’s shot and ignores the brazen hide outright.
The final wave sends two of him at once, so have the mark ready before it arrives.
Is there anything I can turn down or off?
Yes — all in Settings (the gear on the title screen):
- Reduce Motion — stops the board shake and zoom.
- Colour-Blind Aid — marks every foe with a glyph naming its type, so you never have to tell them apart by colour.
- Sound — one switch for music and effects together.
Dezh also follows the system Reduce Motion setting where it can.
Does it work offline?
Almost entirely. The campaign, Endless, the Daily and Weekly, Conquest and all five court games play with no connection at all.
Only two things need the network: submitting to Game Center leaderboards, and Court by Post. Both catch up on their own once you are back online.
How do I play on Apple Vision Pro?
The whole battle stands on a war table in front of you. Look at what you want and pinch to act: pinch a glowing plot to raise the tower you have selected, pinch a champion then pinch the field to send them, and pinch and drag the table’s frame to move the whole board around your room.
Privacy
What data does Dezh collect?
None. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier and no third-party SDK of any kind. There is no account to make and no server of ours for anything to be sent to.
Your progress lives on your device and, if you have iCloud on, in your own private iCloud storage — which we cannot read. Game Center scores are handled entirely by Apple.
